MEMBERSHIP AWARENESS CONFERENCE 2024
“CAW CAW RAWRRR!
The wilderness was explored at the Membership Awareness Conference (MAC that took place on October 11th-13th in the Wisconsin Dells. On Friday night wilderness explorers arrived and then engaged in creating their own badges. Their badges could either represent their hometown or CKI club! After creating numerous badges, attendees then passed them out or traded them with other members attending. Then on Saturday members engaged in various service projects to help Camp Wawbeek close down for the summer, which were then followed by different workshop sessions where members either learned about fellowship, service or how to survive in the wilderness. The night was finished out with a fundraiser drawing and the District Board either got water dumped on them or silly stringed. Sunday began with a Membership Recognition Ceremony to recognize the members within the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan District and a wrap up of the event! Thank you so much to everyone who attended! We had an absolute blast getting to spend the weekend with you! See you at the District Convention!”

MAC in the Past-Photos
MAC is our fall rally at Camp Wawbeek! Each year we see many fresh faces at MAC who are excited to meet other members and want to learn more about Circle K International.
First of all, what is Camp Wawbeek? It is part of Easter Seals Wisconsin and it is a summer camp for campers of all abilities. To learn more about Camp Wawbeek, please visit their website. We help clean the camp by volunteering raking leaves, painting shelters, organizing arts and craft supplies, chopping wood, and whatever is needed at the time.
So why should you go to MAC? This weekend is filled with workshops and fellowship events that you do not want to miss! Whether it is running to Denny's at midnight, learning more about the Kiwanis Family in workshops, or expressing your club spirit through a skit, you are guaranteed to have fun and make new friends!
