About The District Board
The District Board rotates there office around the end of each Circle K year. There are numerous positions to be filled, each with their key role in helping WUM Circle K help serve those across our region and around the world. Any Circle K member in good standing is eligible for one of these positions. Some of these seats remain vacant, consider applying through the "Contact Us" page!
Executive Positions
These are the elected positions, with elections held at DCON each year. These positions include Governor, Secretary, Treasurer, Bulletin Editor, and the LTGs. Each of these positions are given a vote at District board meetings. |
Chair Positions
These are positions that are nominated by the executive board to help with District functions, such as the various events as well as keeping and maintaining our District's history and membership. These positions are not given a vote at District board meetings. |
Administrators
These are the Kiwanians that keep us on-track to having a successful Circle K. They are the boards mentors, guiding decisions based on their own experience, as well as giving feedback on the proceedings of the District. |

Joanna Carman Hello everyone! My name is Joanna Carman (she/her/hers) and I am honored to serve as your 2022-2023 District Governor! I am currently a senior at UW-Whitewater studying Business & Marketing Education with an Information Technology minor. This year I look forward to meeting everyone at district events! A random fact about me is that I have several hobbies that I invest a lot of time in - my current hobby being paint by numbers! |

Olivia Groenewold Hi all! My name is Olivia Groenewold (she/her/hers), and I am serving as your 2022-2023 District Secretary! I am currently a senior at St. Norbert College studying Biology with a minor in Spanish. This year, I am so excited to get to work with clubs to help them continue doing amazing things and honor their successes! A fun fact about me is that I love to collect and take care of plants, and I always give them names! |

I am currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay studying Social Work with an emphasis in Child Welfare. Superior Division Lieutenant Governor Douglas Arnett-Arnold Hello everyone. My name is Douglas Arnett-Arnold (he/they), and I am serving as your Superior Division Lieutenant Governor. I am currently a seventh-year at Michigan Technology University studying Social Sciences. I also went to Bay De Noc for a year. I am looking forward to seeing Michigan Tech soar to new heights. Kallie Snowtala Hello! My name is Kallie Snowtala (she/her/hers) and I am your 2022-2023 KFAM Chair! I am a senior at University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Before I joined Circle K back in March of 2022, I had no experience with Kiwanis. I had heard of it, but I was never in Key Club or any of the other branches. During my time as the KFam chair, I am looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know more about all things Kiwanis. I am most excited about the potential turnout for the Kiwanis Hockey Night. A little about me is that I love to travel and spend my time at Brewers games. You can usually find me at a baseball game! :) |

Assistant Events Chair Madelyn Jackson Hello, my name is Madelyn Jackson (she/her/hers) and I am the 2022-2023 Assistant Events Chair. I am a junior at Michigan Technological University where I am studying Biomedical Engineering. This year I am really looking forward to helping to plan some amazing events and getting to know my fellow board members! Something interesting about me is that I love spontaneous adventures and reading fantasy novels. |
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Chair Aoife O’Halloran-Arnold Hello everyone. My name is Aoife (ee-fa) O’Halloran-Arnold. I am genderfluid and use they/them pronouns. I am serving as your Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair. I am also bisexual and biromantic. Throughout my lifetime, I have dealt with a speech impediment with the th sound, a condition that made it harder to write when I was young, being bullied, and anger issues. I still currently deal with noise sensory issues, depression, general anxiety disorder, seasonal affective disorder, and issues that stem from not being able to explore my gender fluidness (being fixed sorta). I hope to make the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Circle K district a more inclusive place and a welcoming place for all. I hope that you will be able to see all of the results of all the hard work that I do this year. I love rom coms books and movies especially The Best of Me and The Fault in Our Stars (my favorite book and one of my favorite movies). I love puns and play on words with a passion. My favorites are “WUM”derful and LGBTea. As long as I have a say “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. |

Lena Scheibengraber Hey all you WUMderful Circle K members - my name is Lena Scheibengraber (she/her/hers) and I have the distinct pleasure of serving as your District Administrator. I am a graduate of Alverno College with a double major in Mathematics & Global Studies and International Affairs. A proud Circle K alum having served in various club, district, and international leadership roles, I am excited to be giving back to CKI as a member of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Nights Kiwanis Club. Outside of Circle K and Kiwanis, I volunteer as a Legal Observer with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Wisconsin, and have served in various roles related to civic engagement, such as a Chief Election Inspector for the Milwaukee Election Commission and Voter Services Co-Chair for the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County. In my professional life, I work as a Constituent Services Representative with a focus on immigration issues at Senator Tammy Baldwin's Office in Milwaukee in addition to being a graduate student at UW-Milwaukee where I am studying Cultural Foundations of Community Engagement and Education. With so many incredible adventures on the horizon, it's hard to choose just one thing I'm excited about! If I had to pick just one thing, I'd say I'm most excited about the district hosting membership-focused, in-person and hybrid events that will help connect us to one another. |

Ann Marie Pilot Hello to you all! I'm Ann Marie Pilot (she/her), happily serving as the Assistant District Administrator for WUM! I am fortunate to be able to closely work with the chair positions on the board. I graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in English & Communications. I have been a member of the Kiwanis Family since 2002 serving in leadership positions in Circle K and now Kiwanis. I am a member of the Kiwanis Club of Metro Milwaukee Nights, and serve the WI-UM Kiwanis District Service Chair (and Camp Wawbeek is one of my all time favorite places to be). Professionally, I work in the Non-profit sector as a Development Manager for the Walk to End Alzheimer's. If you would like to plan a service project around any Alzheimer's related functions, please let me know!I’m excited I’ll be able to work with the resilient, passionate, innovative members of WUM —IN PERSON (at least more in person than we have been the last three years). I cannot wait to be a supportive member of the Kiwanis committee (especially with our phenomenal chairs)! A fun fact about me is that I cosplay, and visit conventions around the country! A few characters I dress up as are: Anna from Frozen (my sister is Elsa), Buffy Summers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Professor Delores Umbridge from Harry Potter, and Cersei from Game of Thrones! |

Rachel Leader Hi everyone! My name is Rachel Leader (she/her/hers) and I have the honor of serving WUM as a member of the administration team. I’m a UW Madison alum and was a member of Circle K and am currently the Kiwanis Advisor for their Circle K as a Downtown Madison Kiwanian. Outside of Circle K I am an Employee Benefits Consultant for Johnson Financial Group. I can’t wait to see the impact you all have on the District! Ashley DeFazio Hi all! My name is Ashley DeFazio (she/her/hers) and I am lucky to be able to serve WUM as a member of the administration team. I am also a member of the Kenosha Kiwanis Breakfast Club! I went to UW Platteville where I also was a member of Circle K. I am currently working at Northwestern Mutual in Risk Client Services. I’m hopeful that this year will lead to more in person events. A random fact about me is that I’ve broken both of my arms! |
